Just
like our wardrobe, our skin care too definitely needs a seasonal change. The
summer months combined with humidity and heat can be pretty harsh on your skin
if you don't take care of your. UVA/UVB rays can increase the activity of the
sebaceous glands, as a result of his Oily skin gets oilier, and dry skin gets
patchy. The intensity of the sun’s rays also causes tanning by producing more melanin pigments, breakouts,
pimples, blemishes , rashes ,
roughness, acne, open pores(which can get clogged with dirt and oil) on the
face.
Here
are few simple everyday summer skin care tips for keeping skin healthy &
glowing during the summer.
1. Choose right Face Wash
Make
sure you Wash your face plenty of times every day to keep your face clean of
dust and sweat through these hot months. No need to use a face wash( twice a
day) every time, clean water would do just fine.
• Dry & combination skin –
invest in a non-foaming cleanser
• Oily/acne prone skin- go for a
salicylic acid foaming cleanser
2.
Use a Refreshing Toner
Sweating
can cause our skin pores to open up. Using a good toner (after making sure the
skin is clean) can help you close open pores. Pay attention to the T- zone
while toning your face because of the largest concentration of sebaceous glands
that will tend to make your face oiler & more patchy.

rays& broad ultraviolet spectrum) is recommended and must be applied 20-30
minutes before stepping out into the sun. Reapply every three hours if you are
spending all day in the sun. Make sure to cover your hands, feet, shoulders,
and neck as well. If you are going to be swimming, then keep re-applying as and
