Honey For Sensitive Skin



Sensitive skin? Got puzzled with so many products…what to use? How to use? Don’t worry. Nature has so many things to gift us. Here are some good homemade face masks with honey for sensitive skin.
The characteristics of sensitive skin are redness, irritation, sensitivity, and itchiness. If your skin type fits this description, try these masks to minimize the problems.

Precaution:
Apply the tester (any product including your homemade face pack too) on your face, neck or wrist and if you feel any itchiness, irritation or redness then you should not try that product. It is not good to compromise your health over some beauty product. Prevention is better than cure.
1. Aloe vera and Honey Face Mask
Ingredients:
·     2 teaspoons of raw honey
·     1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel(perfect for sensitive skin as it calms the skin and  soothes inflammation)
Instructions:
1. Mix the ingredients and then apply the mask all over your face.
2. Leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes
3. Wash it off with normal water.

2. Banana and Honey Mask
Ingredients:
·     1/2 mashed banana
·     1/4 cup oatmeal, cooked with milk (Oatmeal is high in nourishing vitamins and minerals; it gently cleanses and heals skin.)
·     1 egg
·     1/2 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
1. Mix ingredients together.
2. Massage onto face in a slow, circular motion and leave for 15 minutes.
3. Rinse with tepid water.
